R.I.P. Black Rhino…

Mourning one of the world’s toughest, roughest (and, alright, not-so-brightest) and beloved animals today. R.I.P. African Black Rhino. You will be missed deeply, but the extinction of your species will not go unremembered, the gravity your absence will not go unfelt, the message your loss sends will not go unheeded.

The latest update to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species reviews more than 60,000 species, concluding that 25% of mammals on the list are at risk of extinction.

Let’s learn from this loss and make sure it never happens again.
