“One Elephant is slaughtered every 15 minutes for Ivory…

….At this rate, they will be extinct in just 12 years

I know these kinds of topics can be difficult to read…even overwhelming just to think about. These are issues that aren’t fun to write about, either.

Believe me, there are days I just want to shut out all the bad news, sad stories, or seemingly hopeless cases and just binge-watch cute kitten videos.

But I’ve learned from experience that fighting that urge and getting involved with important causes like this one pay off in more ways that one.

We have won this battle once before. We have proven in the past that something as small as signing a petition or joining a march can, and will, actually make a direct, real, and immediate difference!

So please–if you care about elephants and their future on this planet, let’s work together to fight this catastrophe.

How? It’s simple! First, check out the International March for Elephants NYC’s facebook page to find out how, when, and why stopping the ivory trade is so urgent!

Then all you have to do is:

  1. Sign the petition, and consider joining the International March for Elephants in NYC!
  2. Register at: http://nycmarchforelephants.eventbrite.com/ to Say NO to illegal ivory poaching
  3. Come Join the March to walk with us this Friday to raise global awareness of elephant poaching…and ask our government to end it once and for all!
